For 2017 Bentley is introducing its first SUV, the Bentayga, starting at a modest $229,000 (or $320,000 depending on the news report you read). And if you still have some pocket change after layout out the purchase price you can spend it on a $215,000 Breitling clock for the dashboard.
Now for the price of the clock you can buy the following:
A Tesla S (approx. $70,000), a BMW i3 (a good small electric) for about $43,000 and a Chevy Volt (when you feel like slumming) for about $34,000 and still have around $85 grand left after government rebates – enough to buy another Tesla.
On the other hand, the Breitling clock is self-winding.
